Oh Chick

You might remember this post, or perhaps this one, where I pay tribute to my dear Chick-Fil-A. Well, they've gone and exceeded my expectations again!

During the rain storms last week, I headed to my local Chick (by the Cerritos Mall) to grab some lunch with Stacy. It was of course wonderful. Wonderful service, wonderful drinks, wonderful sauces, etc. But just when I thought it couldn't get more wonderful, as I head to the door to leave, an employee grabs a chick-fil-a umbrella and offers to escort me to my car! How wonderful is that? I was actually just parked right outside of the front entrance, and it was barely sprinkling, so I declined the offer, but vowed to pay yet another tribute to one of my favorite establishments.

So here's to you Chick! (Diet Dr. Pepper raised in the air). I love you.

  1. I'm sure it was "their pleasure" to walk to your car. Next time I'm there I'm going to count how many times I hear "my pleasure." So great.

I just drove by an old Burger King by me that's been closed for a while and there was a "Chik-fil-a Coming Soon" sign up. My prayers have been answered. I'm not kidding.

  2. Of course it was their pleasure as it always is!
I love this story! Bless Chick's heart! Everytime I leave I say "i am going to write them a thank you letter!" In fact I might just do that right now!
Was it Effin that offered to help? I love him.
Ashley, don't even start! First SONIC then CAFE RIO and now CHICK! You are one lucky, lucky lady!

  3. I've got another one that I wanted to blog about.
I was in the Chick bathroom in AZ. There was a sign that said,
"Forgot a diaper for your child? Just ask an emloyee and we'd be happy to provide you with one."
    WOW!

  4. I love all of this!
I only wish "It's my pleasure" would be the response if I asked a Chick employee to feed and watch my children while I eat peacefully in my own booth across the room.
    That would be MY pleasure.
