A little update

I can't for the life of me think of anything of interest to blog about. Prop 8 perhaps, but I would more than likely get too emotional, so I'm not going to go there. All I can say, is this is the first election I was actually into, and I regret it. D-R-A-M-A! Not that I wouldn't have gone to vote, or done my part for Prop 8, but I hate getting into the other aspects of the election because it frustrates the hell out of me, and I don't think the stress is worth it.

Anyway... Brighton wore her cute bow/headband ensemble from Jillian on Voting day. LOTS of complements.


I took this picture (well Braden did) to document how much she loved to be on her stomach in the bath. That was about 2 weeks ago. Now, she HATES it. She gets hysterical before I even get her fully flipped over! I think she might just be too big or something. Kind of weird.

What, what! I filled up for $2.33 a few days ago, thanks to my 20 cent discount at Von's. That is 1/2 of what I paid a few months ago. It was costing me about $65 a tank for my little car at the peak of gas pricing. $32.88 is a dream!



Loved her Sunday outfit today. I made the bow to match :)

She LOVES to make bubbles, and usually has a fu manchu after her long 'talks' with her Daddy.

She is sleeping 8 - 10 hours at night (more 10 hour nights this week, woot, woot!!) She is so happy to see me in the morning, it makes my whole day. I just love it! She totally looks for my voice, and has really started looking at the noises she hears.

She has also started (well totally knows I should say) knowing who is holding her. She pretty much cries if anyone holds her except Braden or me. She gets a SUPER frowny face (which I think is so cute), but then will just wail. If we're alone she also cries the second I leave the room, and will immediately stop once I return. I thought this stuff didn't happen until later!

She talks to herself while we're driving, which I could listen too all day, and sucks on her hands or blanket all the time now. Most recently she is working on getting both fists in her mouth at the same time. I'll let you know when she achieves that :) She's full of smiles all the time, and I just can't get enough! I also can't get enough of hanging out with our super fun friends, so keep those get-together's coming girls! (and we need to take more pictures!!!)
