Sorry, I typed this forever ago, and just got around to uploading (super great) photos...
Our spring break started off with a lovely Easter. We did an egg hunt and found Easter baskets before church and then gorged ourselves on food and candy at Nana and Grandpa's after church.
I don't teach piano when my students are out of school, so I decided to make it an extra fun week for my girls as well.
Monday we started our week at our favorite place, the Long Beach Town Center. We lathered on the sunscreen and had fun playing on the splash pad and playground.
Tuesday we joined the Guillens for a Park-A-Thon. We parked hopped from Heritage to Liberty and ended at Mae Boyer. Such a fun idea!
Wednesday we met the Thompsons at the Bay and had tons of fun in the sand and water. Boston did not mind the freezing water and just kept wanting to go further and further out. I ended the day by getting a free burrito at Cafe Rio (for Braden) and my favorite tostada salad.
Thursday, Brighton and I returned to Mae Boyer to make a bug jar. I thought they would just have random jars that we'd use by poking holes in the top. Nope! They had super cute lady bug or bee kits for the kids to put together. Brighton l-o-v-e-d it and daddy took her out that afternoon to collect "bugga bugga's". That night I had a fabulous time with some girlfriends at Cafe Rio, yet again.
Friday we were invited to the Attwood's to play in their kiddie pool. We enjoyed the perfect weather and had fun using all of Harley's fun toys.
Saturday we rented Toy Story 3 for the first time to watch while Boston napped, met daddy for lunch at work and came full circle by ending our week at the LB Town Center again.
I am one tired mom, but we had tons of fun!
