It's December!?

Wow, how time is flying!

I'm just going to recap several things in one post :)

First, I had the pleasure of seeing New Moon with this fun group on the 2oth.

Several of us made shirts to wear for the event. Mine is on the back, but it said, "I like my men cold, dead and sparkly". Shawna's said "What do you mean Edward doesn't exist?" on the front, and "What happens on Isle Esme, stays on Isle Esme". Complete with feathers (from pillows) stuck all over. Stacy's said, "Reneesme" with an arrow pointing to her stomach. It was a blast!

Then came Thanksgiving. The night before I made my very first pie. Not homemade crust, but I did do homemade filling. It was a ton of work! I saw an apple pie picture in a magazine a few weeks before with cute leaf cut outs on top, so I thought I'd give it a try. I thought it turned out cute, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Thanksgiving morning, Brighton and I watched Braden play some good old touch football.

After we headed to his parents to let Brighton have a nap, and to get ready to eat! I put her down for a nap in a play pen at the base of a bed that had some things on it from the kitchen table. When Soni got her up from her nap, we found this:

I guess the fruit bowl was a little too close, and she decided to have a sample.

After Thanksgiving, it was up with the Christmas decor! Brighton loved this shoe box that I had some decorations in. I was amazed she could fit into it!
The other day I was at Joann's and saw these little fax trees for $3.99. I thought it would be fun for Brighton's room. So we got that, some little wooden ornaments, and some beads to decorate it with. She was into it for about 30 seconds. Oh well. As she gets older, hopefully she'll like decorating for her room each year.

She was more into draping the beads around her and prancing around.

It feels good to be doing things again! I am feeling much, much better which has been awesome :) Almost done with the first trimester... yaaay!

Dance Party

Brighton has really responded well to a few songs in her short life. When she was only a few months old, she would always stop crying or fussing when Love Me Dead by Ludo came on the radio.

Now every time she hears Supermassive Black Hole by Muse, it turns into a dance party. This girl loves music. It was born into her.

Yes it's from the twilight soundtrack.

Maybe I'm Obsessed... again.

I am obsessed with Twilight... again. It's all thanks to dear dear Shawna, for a. talking about it non-stop (which I love), and b. having such a fun Twilight party last week! I thought we were just coming over to watch the movie... maybe drink a diet coke or two. No, no. This girl went all out. See THIS blog post for all the details.

PS. Shout it from the roof tops. Obsessed.

*pause while you go look at other blog post thanks to Sarah* :)

I just had to blog this on my own because I still have my party favor poster, I'm still on a high, and I can't wait for New Moon!!!! I could watch the trailer everyday until November 20th, and I just might.

I'm reading Twilight again (never re-read a book in my life) and it is so fun! You catch so many little things you either didn't get the first time, or you have a different take on now that you know the whole story. I would highly recommend it.

Now, I just need to remember that I am 26 not 16.
