Ballet - Session 2

Brighton started doing really well the beginning of our 2nd session of ballet. No tantrums, no crying and she was really enjoying participating. But for the last two weeks, she's gone back to her old ways. What will I do with her.

Ballet: Week 3

Complete 180!

It's like she just decided she liked it. No tantrums. No crying. No screaming. I was so giddy. She was so cute. I love it!!

Ballet: Week 2

It went a little better... I think.

We arrived 30 minutes early to avoid walking in to a room full of people.

We had pancakes and chocolate milk before to insure a full tummy, and normal blood sugar.

We purchased real ballet attire and tap shoes so that we would fit in.

We talked about how fun "tapping class" is all week.

However...

We still screamed at the top of our lungs.

We still threw ourselves on the floor...more times than I can count.

We still slapped mommy in the face...and finally had to get flicked for it.

We still had to go outside about 4 times because we were crying so loud.

We still cried and kicked and arched and flailed about.

But...

We did participate in one thing, and sat with mom instead of laying on the floor. (only because I wouldn't let her).

Like I said, we did better today... I think.

Ballet

It was a rough first day at ballet. There were way too many people looking at her. But hopefully she'll warm up to it!
