First I need to tell that I about had a breakdown on Saturday. I decided to do our own taxes using Turbo Tax. For those that know me well, I'm involved in a fair amount of income producing "things", we own a rental, stocks, blah blah blah... needless to say, we have quite a bit of things to report. So I started. 6 hours later, and thinking I was done, we owed over $3000!!!! I about had a come apart. I even called my sister (She's getting her Masters in Accounting in a few months) to discuss the IRS and completing started sobbing in 2 seconds. THEN! it dawned on me that I had completely forgot about some VERY important write-offs. I forgot to put in all of my LAYERS write offs, as well as Arbonne!!!! And again for those that know me, you know that was a lot! So after entering that, some depreciation for our townhouse, and a few other "minor" things I had neglected to do, we are now getting a nice return! What a big difference.
Second: I went to my new OB today, and had a fabulous experience. Not only was the Dr great (Dr. Moore out of Orange Coast) but her nursing staff was AWESOME. Not that I have a plethera of experience or anything, but just compared to my first visit with my last OB it was night and day. I am so excited! We scheduled my next appointment for March 11. At that appointment we'll schedule my ultrasound for the week of my birthday to see what we're having! What a great birthday present!
I did get to hear the babies heartbeat from the outside this time, which was very cool... and his/her, hopefully his heart was beating loud and clear!
I am excited to find out what you are having. It makes it feel so real once you know if it's a boy or a girl. You can start all the fun planning stuff..name, colors, bedding ect.
