Does anyone know??

I am setting up a blog for my Dad's photography, and I was wondering if there is a way to lock pictures so they can't be downloaded/copied? I found a website with HTML code that would prohibit right clicking, but I can't figure out where to put it. Anyone have a clue? Much appreciated!!!

  1. Hey Jodee, I'm not sure how to do that. But John (my John) knows how. He's at work all day but I'll ask him when we both get home. I know how to put the COPYRIGHT or DO NOT COPY over the picture but then it kind of ruins the picture. I'll let you know as soon as I find out from John.

Great idea by the way! Uncle Dale's photography is awesome! I was thinking about setting up a blog for John's photography too :) I think I will. I love when John and your Dad get talking. They're funny. John thinks your dad is the bomb! Which he is.

  2. When you go to "customize" your page, there's an Edit HTML tab. Put your HTML code you found in there. It should work. If not, then I'm not quite sure how else you'd do it besides adding an HTML Page Element.

    Hope that helps love.

  3. Hey Jodee, so this is what we know how to do. Add a page element to your blog in the layout section and add the html/javascript. Copy the code I just sent to your email into the box and save. It warns that the pictures are copyrighted but doesn't actually disable the right click completely. The best thing to do is to actually watermark the pictures. Maybe someone else can come up with something better? This is just what we know to do for a blog.
