So what do you do exactly?

Braden gets this question a lot when talking about work... He is now a Sub Station Operator with Edison, and will be going "on-shift" in the next few weeks. (Meaning he'll be by himself and work 12 hours verses being with another "subbie" and working 8 hours). Here are a few pics of what he does...

In his words: "This is mainly what my job entails. (switching)... A crow got across two phases on top of the circuit breaker, so my job was to de-energize the circuit breaker by opening up disconnects which were right above the breaker. Needless to say, the crow didn't make it..."
