Just had my routine pee in a cup, step on the scale doctor appointment today. Good news! I lost a pound :) So ecstatic, because I was OUT OF CONTROL the last two appointments. Blood pressure is good as always, and the Glucose Test came back great (99%), whatever that means.... I'm measuring 1 week small, but since I've had so many ultrasounds and the baby has always been right on track, she chalked it up to me just carrying more "inside". Now I start going every 2 weeks, which seems like it will make it go by so much quicker... hopefully anyway :)
Still trying to hold out on "getting crazy". If it were up to me I would have everything bought and up in our back room by now. Crib, new curtains, you name it. BUT... That's Braden's "play room" as I like to call it, so I'm trying to give him as much time with it as possible, before I start invading :)
Super excited for my baby shower coming up! If you didn't get an invite, you should have, and you're totally invited. It's going to be June 14th / 11 - 1 / Ashley Larsen's. Thanks Ash for offering your house :) And a big thanks in advance to Stacy and Ash for planning it!
Next ultrasound is July 1st and I'm hoping the echogenic heart focus is gone by then. Again, doctors aren't worried, and really neither am I, but it would make me feel a little better.

Kick that guy out of his play room and get to decorating! That's the funnest part. Well...I guess after you have your shower. Speaking of which...I'm so sad to say I won't be able to go. My little (18 yr. old) sister just decided to get baptized that weekend. Long story, but kind of important that I go to AZ for it. I will be sad to miss your fun shower. I'll be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your appointment went well also :) I almost cried when I stepped on the scale. I tried to sneak one foot off the nurse caught me! Darn!

yeah... It is always so wonderful to feel small when you know that you are only getting bigger every time becuase of that sweet baby!!!
