39 Weeks

Things to report:

My ankles are no longer swollen. I should have taken a picture, because they were out of control for a few days.

At my Dr appointment yesterday, I am still just a 3 and 90%. The Dr said that that is about as good as it gets before labor. She also commented on how low her head is... and I quote, "Man, that babies head is low. How low can you go!" I'm hoping that means less pushing? Probably not.

I have recently found her knee or heel (not sure which) frequently poking out on the right side of my stomach. Before that I could never even remotely tell what was going on in there... so that is kind of fun.

Due date... 1 week from today! I'm hoping if I don't go early, that I will follow in my Mom's footsteps by having her on her due date. All 6 kids in my family were born on their exact due dates, and they all happened to be Sundays. Hence the reason my sisters name is Sundee. Luckily, our youngest brother was also born on his due date/Sunday as well! Guinness Book of World Records? I think it's worthy.

I can't wait for this little girl to get here! Not only so I'm just not pregnant anymore, but my Mom and Sis are going to come down to help out so I'm excited to see them as well :) Thanks in advance Mom and Sundee! Love you!

  2. Crazy... she is almost here!
You know I am going to come over to your house more than you like it.. and if you don't let me in the doors, don't worry ..I will probably have to bribe you with dinner or something.

  5. My doctor said the same thing about Jackson's head. We're in Utah so she said "Oh my heck! His head is right there!" And I ended up pushing for only 20-25 minutes tops. He was out before I knew it and I think it was because his head was already so so low. Good luck :) I'm excited to see pictures and hear how it all went. You're going to love being a mom. Get ready to cry every day just looking at how perfect she is!

  6. Yay for babies. I can't wait for her to come.

I don't know much about pushing (2 c-sections) but I hope you don't have to do it long. But even if you do, it's still worth it.
