Saturday, the 10th Ward finished up a great softball season beating the singles ward for the championship 28 - 16. Braden hit a nice home run, followed by 3 other teammates through out the game. Now that softball is over, it's time to get ready for basketball!
Another fun 10th ward story:
A guy sitting a few rows from us busted out a 2 liter bottle of A&W Root Beer for a drink during fast and testimony meeting. I was dying, and tried to take a quick pic with my phone (which was probably just as inappropriate), but it was just too good... unfortunately I wasn't quick enough :(
Who was it? I wish I was there to see it!
ReplyDeleteOf course on the day we aren't there that happens!
ReplyDeleteI need more details of the root beer guy. Please tell me who it was! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI don't think the guy is all there (obviously). He was sitting by Dani Radcliffe, and he always has jeans on that are rolled up like 6 inches, with his socks showing and white shoes.
ReplyDeleteOnly in 10th Ward would someone bust out the 2Liter soda during sacrament meeting!! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteI was on the wrong side of the chapel and missed the fun!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Braden & his team!
Yes, I need you to point out the root beer guy to me. Good luck with your baby!
ReplyDeleteLOL Only in the 10th ward! jk... We have our moments too in our ward!
ReplyDeleteLoving the fun tenth ward story!!! I miss that place!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the root beer story!! That's insane! But, where is a picture of your new Lazy Boy! And I don't mean Braden.....
ReplyDeleteJodee, I can't believe I missed the rootbeer guy. Nothing really good has happend for a while and I miss it when it finally does. By the way, Hudson is getting baptized on Sat. the 9th at 10am. I'm sure he would love it if you could come.
ReplyDeleteThat is so classic 10th ward. I do miss the testimony meetings they were so entertaining.
ReplyDeleteOH no!! How funny!!! Looks like fun at the baseball game! How are you feeling?? BIG HUGS!
ReplyDeleteTiffany pointed that guy out to me. We were trying so hard not to break out into laughter. It was nice and all to bless the baby and all, but that truly was the highlight of the day.
