1.Where were you when you first found out that you were pregnant? At Home. I had just chewed out the primary kids at church and knew I was either pregnant or mental.
2.Who was with you? Braden
3.How did you find out that you were pregnant? Peeing on a stick. First Response.
4.What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? Relief... that I wasn't mental. And really happy.
5.Who was the first person you told? After Braden... My Mom.
6.Did you plan to get pregnant? Yes.
7.Did you tell everyone else right away? The plan was to only tell a few people... but Braden didn't stick to that so well. (And don't deny it babe).
8.Was everybody happy for you? They acted like it anyway!
9.Did you go out and celebrate? No. It was right before Christmas, so that was celebration enough.
10.Did you want to find out the sex? Yes, in a fun way with cupcakes if you all remember.
11.What was the sex? A sweet girl.
12.Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yes, Stacy headed it up with the help of Ashley, my MIL, and SIL's.
13.Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew that you wouldn't put on your baby? Ummm... There were a few that weren't my favorites, but I didn't immediately plan never to use them.
14.How much weight did you gain? 41lbs.
15.Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Almost. 4.5lbs to go! Although...and can we talk about this please. I have WAAAAAAAAYYYYY more than 4.5lbs to lose before I can fit in the same clothes. At least the number on the scale makes me feel good. Weird how your body is after the craziness.
16.Did you get any stretch marks? Yes, on both of my hips, and a tiny one under my belly button.
17.What did you crave the most? Crispix (well cereal in general), Grapes, Milk and Sugar.
18.Did you crave anything crazy? No, but I now like cheese and mayo on my sandwiches (which I never liked before), and I also can eat pickles all the time. I use to only like them occasionally.
19.Who or what got on your nerves? People telling me to try things to put me into labor. Drove me NUTTY. Slap me if I ever do it to you.
20.Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? If too fast is a complication, then yes.
21.Where and when did you go into labor? Home. 5:50am 8/25/08.
22.Did your water break? Yes, in the car on the way to the hospital at about 7:15am.
23.Who drove you to the hospital? Braden. And he did an excellent job.
24.Who was in the room when you gave birth? Braden, the doctor and 2 nurses (there may have been more, but it all happened so fast!)
25.Did you go early or late? 4 days late.
26.How long were in labor for? 2 hours 2 minutes.
27.Did you have any drugs for the pain? None. I didn't even take ibuprofen after or anything! I felt so good, it was unreal.
28.Did you go natural or have a C-section? Natural.
29.What was your first reaction after giving birth? Amazement, relief, love, and so much more.
30.How big was the baby? 7lbs 6oz 20 1/2 inches
31.Did your husband cry? Not that I saw... just a little light headed.
32.What did you name the baby? Brighton Christensen
33.Does her name have any significant meaning? Not really. We decided on it because she looks so much like Braden and they go together.
34.Did you have any visitors? Yes, my Mom and Sundee jumped in the car and made it right before visiting hours were over. Justin and Stacy, Braden's Mom, and Aaron and Marly. We only stayed one night, or a few more people might have had a chance to come.
35.Did the baby have any complications? Her heart rate started to slow right at the end... I'm sure because I was freaking out.
36.How old is your baby today? 15 Weeks / 3 Months
37.When is the next one coming? Too soon to tell.
38.If you could, would you do it all over again? Of course!

I am sure I was one of those telling you what to do to induce labor,sorry. I will remember that for next time:) Well next time I don't think you should do anything to induce labor unless you are in the hospital!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes it doesn't matter what the scale says your body will never be the same. I have lost all my baby weight(according to the scale) but I can't even get a leg into my old jeans:(
