14 Months...All Grown Up

Just today she folded her arms when I said, "lets say prayers", and took a baby wipe to the trash when I asked her to! She's such a big girl now, I can't handle it.

She's really enjoyed dancing this month, and she really loved going to Bella Terra and jammin' with one of their live bands. The sax player even got down on his knee to play right in front of her. She was in heaven.


We've also enjoyed early, early play time at the LB Town Center. We go pretty much as soon as we wake up...about 7:30-8. Take breakfast to go, and enjoy the empty playground, and wide open cement to roam around on.

Since I've been sick though, she's had a lot of time to catch up on her shows. Mickey Mouse Club, Handy Manny, The Wonder Pets, and The Backyardigans. (I try to avoid Dora a.k.a Girl-Who-Yells-Everything) Poor girl is getting a little stir crazy. I'm planning on a Disneyland trip this coming week to make up for it :)

She added a few words to her vocab this month including: waffle, shoes, water, and amen. I think she has about 20 words now!

A couple of her favorite things to do is wedge herself between her little house and the wall, close the door behind her and say, "bye bye" and to put a cell phone to her ear and say, "hi". She loves books, and loves to just come and sit by you. If I'm laying on the floor, she'll walk over, turn around, and sit down almost right on top of me. She loves to give her daddy kisses, and hugs and even pats his back while she's hugging him. It melts my heart every time. On the down side, she is getting more particular, and her temper is showing through more and more. She is starting to throw things when she is upset, and yells a LOT. But we still love her and will survive whatever she throws our way.
