Monumental Day

A. Brighton made it through all of sacrament without having to go out.

B. They let her start coming to nursery, and she loved it!!!

I might start looking forward to Sunday's again!

Plus the cold weather made it nice. No sweating huffing into church.

  1. We're still working on the "no taking out." part. He's making it longer, but still not the whole thing! Any secret?

  3. WHAT?? You got to take her to nursery??? They won't let me take Jackson for 2 more months! I'm going to have to talk to someone because there is no way we are doing church with a newborn and a crazy little 16 month old!

  4. Jami, I think it just depends on the nursery, and the leaders. Our nursery has a lot of older kids. So after the 1st of the year, I think they'll only have like 4 other kids besides Brighton, and there are 2 leaders, plus another parent is always in there I guess.

No secrets really. Just a lot of snacks, and different books, etc. I sit in front of a family who has kids, so she's entertained part of the time with them :)

  5. I totally know what you mean. It gets really tough when they're too big to just sit in your lap the whole time and too little to go to Nursery. The let me put my kids in a bit early too to help me with my calling. Thank you!! It sure makes Sundays not as nice when you're wrestling with kids the whole time!

  8. Totally worn out. Nap time is usually no later than 1:30, and I didn't get home until almost 3. So she was a zombie.
