Ramblings of a Pregnant Woman

I've made a goal to have everything, and I mean everything done for this baby by my 30 week mark.

Some things have been decided:

1. Pack n' Play for $89! This is an awesome deal, in case you are not aware. It has the top bassinet, complete with changing table, 2 speed vibration, lullabies and nature sounds. Although it is pink, and I'm all about getting gender neutral, I just can't pass up this good deal. I'm hoping I can recover the pink parts (anyone have a clue about this?)



2. The stroller. Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller is the winner. Although on the heavy side, it fits in my trunk with ease, and has all the accessories and pockets that I need/want. I could not believe how many strollers didn't even come with cup holders!

Now which color to get. My carrier is brown so...


3. A swing and bouncer have been purchased. $100 for both, and they are in mint condition. Thank you Craigs List.


Some things to do:

1. Decorate! Poor Brighton, although I guess she really doesn't care, has never had a cute bedroom. I have had the best intentions to finish projects I started months ago. But until I found out baby #2 was a girl, I really had no motivation. Now that I can go all out girly, I've actually finished a few things.






2. Have any of you seen the ceiling in the Cerritos Mall two story Forever 21? On the 2nd floor, by the registers, there is a section where they have pink tulle and ribbon bunched and hung from the ceiling. Like a tutu. It is so stinkin' cute. I have to copy it.


Some things I'm not enjoying:

1. Heart burn. Why has this started already? Seriously. I get it almost every night, and have been from about 15 weeks.

2. Cramping. Again, almost everyday, usually in the early afternoon, my stomach and back cramp so bad. This poor baby has had more Tylenol in the womb than Bright has had her entire life. I don't know if it's contractions or just weak muscles or what. I barely have a bump, so things could get ridiculous real quick.

Some things to worry about:

1. I know all of you know the debate going on in my head about being induced. Well, something just dawned on me last night. If I'm not induced, there is a very good chance that Braden would miss his child being born! DUH. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that. It would probably take him over an hour to get to the hospital from work, and that just won't fly if my labor is the same this time. So the pendulum has now sung towards the scheduled induction side.

However, if it swings back to chancing it, I'll be asking for my friends to sign up to babysit me. ;) That way I'm with someone at all times that could take me to the hospital. That's a good plan right?
