New Things

I picked up this steal at a boutique a few weeks ago.

I finally hung something in my stairwell.  I came up with this idea, oh back in...July I think? I bought MDF from Lowes (just a few bucks a sheet) and Justin was super nice and cut out the openings for me.  Then I covered them with a little batting and canvas fabric (about $15). Had some 8X10's printed in B&W matte from wal-greens for $3 each. Stuck a few of these on the back, pressed them into the wall and done! (Three 24"x24" frames and photos for about $35, not bad!)

We purchased this baby a few months ago. We were worried it would be too loud for the neighbors so Braden put some insulation in the back to help muffle the sound. Worked like a charm!

 

I cut out the squares to make this blanket when my friend Courtney actually lived in the apartment I'm living in now. Brighton was 3 months old. I'm glad I waited to sew them, because I had enough to make 2 smaller blankets for each girl :)
