Lucky #7

Baby Bosty turned the lucky #7 a few days after Christmas. If I ever complain about her someone should slap me, because she really is a great baby.

Here's her monthly list-

She is all smiles. She will smile for anyone, anywhere.

Takes 3 naps.

Goes to bed at 7, eats between 4 and 5 and then sleeps until 7am.

Is the best eater. I might even say better than Brighton, if that is possible. She has liked everything I've given her, and is really good and "chewing" things. She eats solids at all 3 meals now.

Loves bath time with her sister. She starts kicking and panting the second we go into the bathroom.

She is getting her first tooth as of yesterday (1/4/11) it just poked through, and it looks like the 2nd one is on it's way as well.

She is an awesome baby in the car. Just looks around, maybe fusses a tiny bit, but then usually will watch Brighton for entertainment or go to sleep.

She scoots everywhere...backwards, and can turn in a complete circle. She gets onto all 4's a ton, so I expect forward movement soon.

She has the most perfect skin. I seriously can't kiss those adorable cheeks enough.

She's started giving me hugs and I think I've gotten a kiss or two.

She l-o-v-e-s paper.  Thick Christmas paper was her favorite this holiday season. She will drop a toy and go for a napkin or receipt faster than you can blink.

If she had a baby drivers license, this would be the picture.

She loves her sister, and sister loves her. They play really well together. With the exception of a bonk on the head here or there, it's usually all giggles.

She likes interactive songs like Itsy Bitsy Spider and Wheels on the Bus, but if you try to sing anything else, she could care less.

She still has some sort of allergies. Pore girl has seriously had a runny or stuffy nose since she was a week old.

I threaten to quit nursing every day because she is so all over the place. She is too busy looking around to get down to business and it takes forever sometimes.  So it's a good thing she loves bottles and formula, because she ends up getting one (sometimes two) of those a day.

I really feel like I have a good handle on being a mom of 2. I think just jumping into everything right away helped. I take both girls to the grocery store, target, out to eat, you name it. I've had my share of meltdowns, and so have the girls, but I think we have our "thing" down pretty well now, and I just love spending so much time with my girls!

Happy 7 baby B, we love you!
