Brighton and I hosted a little Easter Brunch for a couple of her friends the other day. She was so excited about it. Every time we saw anything Easter, she would say, "Look! It's an Easter Party!"
First we ate. On the menu: Yogurt Parfaits, Blueberry and Banana Nut Muffins, Eggs, Fruit, Juice, and Mommy Juice aka Diet Coke.
Next we went to the petting zoo...
...I mean Easter egg hunt. The possum just observed. A little creepy, but we didn't let it stop our fun!
Harley was so excited about her eggs. I don't think she took her eyes off of them for the rest of the party.
Festive hats were worn.
Cute pictures were taken. Thanks to Stacy!
A little friendly wrestling. Which surprisingly, didn't end in any tears!
The babies enjoyed watching their older friends have fun.
Boston in her classic squatters pose.
Miss Adalie practicing her new walking skills.
Then some mom and me shots were taken. So glad new mommy Amy was able to come so close to Baby Liv being born.
Shawna and Maggers
Leslie and Harley
Uh...
Stacy and Adalie
The girls went home with a mini Easter basket filled with things picked out by Brighton.
Brighton was so excited about all of the leftover balloons, she carried them with her the rest of the day.

SO cute!! I love every single picture. Even your mommy daughter one :) LOL. You crack me up!
ReplyDeleteThat one of Boston squatting scares me a little. Put her in some little Children's Place boy jeans and a little spiderman tshirt and that's my little Jacob!! Or put Jacob in her cute little outfit and that's your Boston. Seriously, they are looking more and more alike! If we ever get to see each other we need to switch their outfits just for fun and take pictures :) Ha ha.
Oh what a fun day! Lots of cute kids. That possum is way creepy though. I laughed right out loud when I got you your "mom and me" pictures. Did Brighton maybe get the Heit picture-face gene? Think so.... hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that thinks the possum is cute?? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Mommy and Daughter picture too :)
Looks like a super cute Easter party!!
Such a cute party! We had such a good time! Stacy is a great photographer too! Audrey is still carrying around her goodies...she keeps them stashed in her play fridge.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of me looks familiar.....diet dr pepper in hand, Harley wandering off to nowhere......thanks for the super fun easter brunch!
ReplyDeleteThanks for throwing such a fun party!! So what the next holiday we can make an excuse for a party!? Loved the petting zoo part of the afternoon. I've never seen one so close (alive... that is), let alone near our place. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures, but, uh, Stacy? If you're going to be the official photographer, i'm going to have to insist on more picture of my granddaughters!! And could you please do a better job at making them take a nice family photo?? See you soon, I'm sure!
