I wanted to do a surprise Valentines breakfast; so I set the table the night before after everyone was in bed. My plan was to wake up at 4:50 to make Braden breakfast before work. That turned out to be 5 minutes too late, and he already had a bowl of cereal. Sooorrrrry.
I filled heart shaped baskets with a few things for the girls: stickers, bubble guns, fruit/veggie pouches, a slinky and cookies. I found those cute heart cups at Dollar Tree, along with the plates.
For Braden, I took pictures of the girls holding signs I typed up with reasons they loved him. The top left says, "Daddy, we love you because..." I also made a book of love coupons for Braden and of course some cookies for him to take to work. The girls made him heart valentines complete with glitter glue and hearts. And Brighton colored at least 20 princess pictures for him, but we narrowed it down to 3 for his present.
It is so fun to be able to do these fun things with my family. I have so many fun memories of my mom making our holidays special. I love that I can pass that on. I love my little family so much!
Some other pictures I thought were deserving of being blogged.
