Berkeley is over 1 month old now! At her last appointment, which was
right around her 1 month mark, she weighed 9 pounds 1 ounce. I love
seeing her grow and get little rolls on her arms and legs. She loves to
look around and is getting stronger, holding her head up more. She is
the sweetest baby. Even her cry is kind of cute.
She's
been a little backwards with her nights and days. Although she's not
the best night sleeper, she's been my best baby overall. She's very
consolable and is usually just happy to be held. She takes a bottle
well, and takes a pacifier! She's my first to actually like a
paci, and it's been pretty awesome. She'll actually refuse to nurse
because she just wants the paci. Fingers crossed it continues.
Brighton
and Boston absolutely adore her. They are always wanting to "see the
babies face" or "see the babies eyes" (so weird), and want to nuzzle her
constantly. With all the nuzzling, Berkeley has already had her first
cough :-( Luckily it didn't last long, and wasn't anything serious.
She
loves bath time, and totally relaxes when I put her in the water. She
also loves the hammock, and I've been having her sleep in it all night.
As a result, we've had a couple of 5 hour stretches.
I'm
adjusting to 3 kids better than I did to 2... knock on wood. I think
because the age gap between Bos and Berkeley is farther, it's been
easier. And maybe the fact that I am just SO thankful I'm not pregnant
anymore!
Happy 1 month sweet baby girl! We're so happy you're here!
