Golden Spoon vs. Yogurtland

VS .

Braden and I went to Yogurtland for the first time tonight... after a yummy, I mean delicious (Braden hates the word yummy) dinner at Wahoo's.

Drum roll please....

I have to say I like Golden Spoon better. Although, it is fun to be able to get whatever toppings you want and 'do it right', I'm not a big fan frozen yogurt/icecream, that is watery. Golden Spoon is MUCH creamier; and you have to have a good base to put the toppings on!

Which do you prefer? What's YOUR opinion?

  1. I love yogurtland because I like to serve myself, but I'm always up for goldenspoon also!

  2. I like going to this place right by my house called Swirlz (i'm sure it's similar to Yogurtland) only because Landon gets to do it by himself and he thinks it's the coolest place ever. But I agree that Golden Spoon is a lot more creamier! So for quality I would probably have to say that Golden Spoon is better :)

  4. Those must be a California thing. Or a non Utah thing anyway. But I love TCBY or a place in Utah started by a BYU student called FroYo. If I come to California I'll have to try those places out.

  5. Those sound good. We have Red Mango and Spoon Me...I haven't decided which I like better...Red Mango is creamier but melts really fast and Spoon Me is a bit more tart a little less "yogurty" (which sounds a lil like yogurtland and Golden Spoon....I love both Utah versions!

  6. Ohhhh, that was SUCH good information for me. I've been meaning to try yogurtland and now I don't need to. I have to have my yogurt as creamy as possible. I won't be able to handle watery yogurt for sure. I would like to do my own toppings though b/c I usually have to instruct the workers on how to spread the topping all the way around!
