I forgot to take my camera up to Utah last week, so it took me a few days to round up some pictures...
First I flew up to Salt Lake for Casey's (brother just older than me) graduation. I've already posted this, but I'm just so proud! He starts working for Honda designing in their off road (atv) department in July out in Ohio. I'm so excited for him, it's well deserved. He got his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and graduated in the top 10% of his class :)
(Casey walking)
After the graduation we went to Emmalyns for a nice luncheon. Their family lived across the street from us in Cedar, but moved up to SLC a few years back. She was Casey's Mom away from home... When I was talking to her she said, "I don't know who I'm going to make cakes for now that Casey's moving!" So funny, because if you know Casey, he LOVES his desserts.
(Yummy food spread)

(I was in charge of picking up a cake last minute... this 70 yr old lady wrote on it for me last minute, and brought it to me and said, "How is this?" I was like, "Great! Thanks!" ... It made me laugh)

(Me and my sisters stuffing our faces... I look obese!)

(Getting a picture with my pregnant cousin... She's due 2 weeks after me. My Dad decided to show off his belly too! ha ha... sorry for the white showing through with the flash...)
The next day we attended Sundee's graduation. (not recommended to attend 2 graduations in a 48 hour period. I thought I was going to die.) She graduated with her Masters in Accounting, and was also in the top 10% in her class!
(Morgan, Tiara, Sundee, Me and Casey... sorry for the white boobs showing through with the camera flash...again)
Following her graduation came more food... Mexican of course, and I was stuffed to the brim with chips and salsa. Then came my most embarrassing moment of my pregnancy:
We went grocery shopping after eating, me, my mom, my 3 sisters, and Sundee's now husband... I'm stuffed silly remember, and waddling around good 'ol Wal-mart when I randomly sneeze. Yep, you guessed right. Totally wet my pants. Not SUPER bad, but bad enough to be seen in the back. We were almost done, so they made me walk around with wet pants while we finished up shopping and then headed home to change. It was pretty darn funny, and I'm really not that embarrassed obviously since I'm posting it on my blog.
The following week included:
Food, talking, more food, desserts, more talking, Sundee's Bridal shower, talking, food, Wedding Dinner, getting things together for Sundee's wedding, desserts and talking. Did I mention food?
(Sundee's beautiful toilet paper dress)
(A descent picture of me that I made my Mom take)
Braden flew in the night before the wedding and had a fabulous time waiting at LAX for about 9 hours due to a missed flight. An idiotic United worker, tagged his luggage to go to Chicago. By the time it got figured out, and any sort of communication happened, Braden got to his gate 5 minutes before take off, and they wouldn't let him on the plane. So lame. So he had to wait for the next flight 8 hours later and finally made it to St. George at 11:55pm. Thanks Babe for waiting :) He did miss the Rehearsal Dinner which was yummy, and a fun girls night with all of my aunts and cousins, but oh well.
Sundee's wedding was on Saturday May 10th, and it went really well and was very beautiful. Of course no pictures... but I'll post some as soon as I get some! She had me do her hair, which was a little scary, but I did a damn good job I would have to say. It was an up-do, and took me a little while, but It was cute, and it stayed in place :)

Sunday morning we flew home at 7am, and totally crashed. Exhausting, but fun!

Yea for Utah parties!!! Whew, you had a busy week! I totally thought that was you graduating and I got so confused. You and your sissy look SO much alike!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures. I had so much fun seeing you guys! Sundee was a beautiful bride :) I love the picture of us and your Dad. Classic. Also love the white showing through the black! So funny! It's funny because you look JUST like your mom but Sundee looks JUST like you. I totally thought that was you in the paper wedding dress at her bridal shower.
