Spontaneous

Today Stacy and I decided to get some pool time at her parents, and allow me to FINALLY get some sun on the back side of this white body. It was an adventure for sure, trying to get on a raft that was about the same width as me. But it was pure bliss floating around in the sun weightless... once I finally got situated.

(beached whale not pictured)

After about an hour of chatting, Stacy, her Dad and I got to talking about our (well mine and my families for sure) favorite Mexican place on Olvera Street. Celito Lindo. We got so excited about it, about 10 minutes later we all jumped in her Dad's truck and drove ourselves up to LA!. (with Stacy's brother Sam as well)

I told my baby that she was in for the best meal of her unborn life, and she sure liked it (if kicking and moving around a lot is liking). "3 and beans please!"

My Grandparents have been going here since they were first married, and my Grandma spent many hours trying to duplicate their famous Avocado Sauce. Side by side, I dare you to figure out which is the real thing. However, you can't beat the Celito Lindo taquitos and beans, and the whole package together is phenomenal.

At this time, I would also like to give HUGE props to my Mom for making this meal at home at least once a week, and frying thousands if not possibly a million taquitos in her life time for our family (Casey & John, ah hem...)

I enjoyed our spontaneous adventure, and hope that word will still by part of my vocabulary once this baby is born! Thanks Stac and Fam for the fun afternoon :)
