FUN
On Saturday we grubbed it up at Paul's Place, then headed over to Valley View lanes for "Extreme Bowling" with the Petersons. What is the purpose of fog in a bowling ally? Anyone?
We were having a fabulous time, but after the 3rd game, my back was killing me and I had to sit out the last game. Needless to say, my back and buttocks are quite sore from that adventure. I sure did look cute with my shants and bowling shoes though! Although Braden wasn't up to par (so he thinks) and didn't beat his best score of a 232; I still think he did great. And then there was me me with a whopping 74 :( So sad.
HUGE
I will be 35 weeks on Thursday. Flippin' scary! I'm posting this a few days early because I will be gone (see below)... I feel that I've doubled in size in the last 5 weeks. I can't possibly get any bigger right? ha ha. Besides the fact that I am an official 'waddler', I am quite upset at the fact that I wasn't efficiently warned about the 'pelvic discomfort' that comes with pregnancy. This baby hasn't even dropped yet (I don't think anyway) and I already feel like someone crushed my pelvis/pubic bones!
DELAY
Since there are UFC fights this weekend, and our HD TV is in our back room, setting up the crib, etc has been delayed. I guess we're just trying to put off figuring out what we're really going to do when we actually have the baby, and can't be in the back room for events. Anyway... the 'stuff' is collecting.
One last get away! Braden and I are headed to Palm Springs Wed/Thursday night to stay here:
Hyatt Grand Champions Resort
and get these:
Pregnancy Massage for me / Swedish for him
and chill here for a few days:
A nice cool hotel room, or by one of their 7 pools :)
COMPLETE
Braden installed new cupboard hardware, so that our cupboards close now! Very exciting.
And, my baby hammock arrived a week or so ago. I set it up immediately and tested it out with a bag of sugar. Still so excited.
I love bowling. You don't look huge! And I want a massage!

ReplyDeleteYou're not huge by the way! You're lucky you're not short like me. I am way bigger than you and you're 2 weeks ahead of me. I get asked all the time if I'm overdue. Sad.
I hope you and Braden enjoy your getaway. That's awesome that you're doing that. The prenatal massage should be awesome!

It puts me to tears at least once a day. I'm sure the guys think we're exaggerating, but I'd love to have them experience this for just one hour.

ReplyDeleteAs for the pelvic discomfort. Doesn't it feel like someone smacked you with a baseball bat??? That was the worst. I don't know what I was thinking getting a bikini wax at 36 weeks while I felt like that. Sorry for the TMI! Just don't do what I did!
