I love the color, it hides dirt well.
HOWEVER. It has all of these little holes in it that collects dirt.
A mop doesn't get it. The swiffer definitely doesn't get it. My new Hoover Floormate SpinBrush doesn't get it. Only the good old scrub brush on your hands and knees does the trick.
I cleaned about 3 square feet, and my wrist hurts pretty bad from scrubbing so hard, and I'm sweating.
I plan on scrubbing the whole thing and waxing it. Think that'll work? Any other ideas?

ReplyDeleteToo bad I can't help with those floors. Matthew gets so mad when he sees me on my hands and knees scrubbing floors...but it really is the only way to go I think.
I have a similar problem with the grout in my floors and it makes me mad but the only think that works is me on my hands and knees. Hire some kids to do it for you? :-)

Maybe you could put a sealant on it after you've scrubbed it? Just an idea.
