Christmas Happenings

The day after Thanksgiving we had some family pictures taken. Brighton wouldn't give us a smile (unless we were swinging her), but I still love them.

I think it was Piper who started the crying, but we all had a little melt down ;)

Next we went with the Peterson's to get our trees.

I thought Brighton would be so excited to help put the ornaments on the tree. Nope. She wanted nothing to do with it.  She thinks it's pretty, but didn't want to do any of the work.

I also decorate the day after Thanksgiving.  It was always tradition growing up. I was so excited when I found this little bottle tucked away. This was my all time favorite Christmas decoration as a kid. It's a little perfume bottle and I love the smell. I remember finding it every year and sneaking "sniffs". My Mom let me take it home last year, and I completely forgot. There's no perfume left, but it still smells so good.

Last week we attended our ward Christmas party.  They did a great job this year, and Santa didn't take too terribly long getting there.

Brighton had so much fun running around and dancing.  I dressed the girls in their Christmas PJ's since the party started so close to bedtime. That way they were festive and ready for bed all at the same time :)

Brighton was desperate for this girls attention. I was trying so hard not to laugh, and I bust up every time I watch this.

Then we had a pre-Christmas celebration with Nana and Grandpa.  We thought it would be nice for us to have our own little party before we left for Utah.

And then she went right back to playing with her cars.

All of my Christmas shopping is done. Now onto packing and cleaning before we leave next week!
