Spring Break

No piano + no tot lot = party time!

We started our party week off with breakfast at one of our favorite spots, Nick's.

Then we met some friends at the beach for a few hours. It was a beautiful day! But, keeping track of my fearless red head and my defiant blond near water about did me under. I'll be posting a story in my next "Seriously" post about our day.

I die over Boston in this bright blue. It's the perfect color for her.

Wednesday we had rain. Nana came to play with the girls and the hubs and I went on a lunch date. Grub at Lucille's and then over to the theater to watch Hunger Games. I love doing day dates. It's much more of a break.

Thursday we played with friends at the park, went to dinner with more friends that night, and then took a drive down to Bolsa Chica Beach.

Our beautiful weather was interrupted again with wind and rain. On rainy days I head straight to Chick Fil A. I let the girls play as long as they want, and then when we're trapped in the house for the rest of the day, it goes much smoother.  Rather than waiting until their restless and then getting out, ya know?

We spent the rest of the day lounging and trying to catch up on our cleaning.

Then we started the princess making process in prep for our tea party on Saturday. That post is up next :)
