I totally laughed when I read the quite/shy part. Not at all. But she is very sweet. Throughout the day she will say, "I love you too" and come give me hugs. She's always willing to say sorry and as quick as she is to get mad she's just as quick to give hugs and kisses to make up.
She really did look like a doll! 2 - 4 months.
She is a total princess, but still a bruiser at the same time. She loves to wear princess dresses and to sing and dance all around. But when people describe their always on the go boys, it sounds just like her. The girl is always on the move.
She's entered the crying for no reason phase. Just when she wakes up from her nap for the most part. I do have to note that it is not nearly as bad as Brighton. Maybe she's just getting started though.
5 - 9 months
She copies every little thing Brighton does. Sounds, facial expressions, everything. It is so cute to see her studying all of her actions. Except when it's naughty of course...
Every night in Brighton's prayers she says, "I love mommy and I love sister bossy..." Remember that Bos! Even if you fight as teenagers, Brighton loves you so much!
10 - 12 months
Some more things about Boston:
- She can count to 10.
- Sings her ABC's pretty well.
- Thinks everything is pink, but is getting better at recognizing her colors.
- Recognizes some shapes.
- She talks well for her age. Not as articulate as Brighton was, but once you get a hang of her "language" she has quite a few 4-5 word sentences, and repeats everything we say. Some of my favorite words she is saying right now are: "So alicious!" "I lub it!" "Look! So beautiful!" and most recently, "Birthday party!".
- She loves her bottle. Duh.
- Wears 2 and 3T clothes, size 7 shoes.
- She is just under 30 lbs, and pretty darn tall for age {however tall that is}
- She can run and climb better than any other kid her age.
- Her favorite word is "no".
- Her favorite song is Beauty and the Beast.
- Her favorite tv show is The Little Einsteins.
- Her favorite color is pink.
- Her favorite foods are: beans, bananas, grapes, and cheese.
- She loves to carry around her baby doll or a princess doll, finger painting, playing pretend cooking with Brighton, spinning, playing high five, books and puzzles, wrestling with daddy, and playing "I Spy"
- It is the cutest too she says, "I spy wit I ittle eye... somepeeeeeen, PINK! It's always pink.
13 months - 23 months
I am obsessed with her hair. {While walking to our car from Chick just a few days ago a lady says, "Oh wow, her hair is a good color for her! Like I chose it from a box. People crack me up.} I love to cuddle her like she's my baby and could just stare at her beautiful face all day. Happy birthday sweet bossy! We all love you so much!

If you read this and know Boston, will you please leave a comment? I would love for her to have some fun comments to read when she's older. Thank you!!

Boston! Happy Birthday! I love you so much! I love your smile, I love your hair, I love your smile and your rosy lips! I love how sweet you are how rambunctious you are and I love to dance with you to princess music. You are a sweetheart and I love getting to spend time with you. Love you! Grandma
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Bossy! Hope you have a fun day!

Dear Boston,
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! You are such a fun and easy going little red head! We love hanging out with you! Beautiful bday girl!
Happy birthday beautiful girl! I love your BIG personality and your big lips and your awesome hair. I love that you can hold your own against your sister (even though she has a big personality too). I love watching you play and seeing how brave and independent you are. You are such a sweet girl and I love you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Bossy! Who would have thought a tiny girl like you would have grown and surpassed Adalie like you have! I think the only picture I will have of her being bigger than you is from when you two were first born and your Mommy and I tried to do a little photo-shoot of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteYou are tough and brave, but you balance it out with a sweet, loving personality. I remember the first time I saw the daredevil side coming out of you... Your Mommy, Sister, Adalie and I were all hanging out in your room and you decided to balance with one foot on the back of your toy horse, the other foot you stuck out to the side. Not only did you repeat it several times, but others who tried to attempt this stunt of yours failed.
I love to hear you sing and still remember when you were over at our house singing the opening theme song to "Little Einsteins". Adalie danced and you were singing along and got almost every word.
You love dress up and Princesses and pretty soon here you will have your very own Princess who is just like you! Merida, she is a curly red head princess who is passionate, fiery, and brave... but yet she still has a soft heart..... Just like you!
Happy Birthday Boston! I love you and your family and am so grateful you are in our lives!
Love,
Stacy, Justin & Adalie
