Insta-Friday: The In Betweens

Our In Betweens generally are captured by my cell phone cam, so I thought it would be fun to link up with Insta-Friday over at Life Rearrange.
The hubs and I before seeing Miss Saigon. SO good. Awesome acting, awesome songs and a really good story.

Brighton is done napping. Sad, sad day. Once Boston started napping in their room, the pack 'n play in our room became a dresser. So down it went. I definitely don't need another place to let my clothes collect... Even if they are clean.

On our way to Vegas this little guy stayed on our sunroof for a few miles, even on the freeway! He decided to crawl off when we stopped for gas.

I love spring! Brighton learned how to say Jacaranda, so that is pretty much all I hear in the car, "Look! A Jacaranda!"

Some of Braden's basketball shorts went missing a few weeks ago. So instead of browsing TJMaxx while waiting for the washers to finish, I now take self reflective portraits while guarding our clothes.

One of my student's moms recently learned how to do balloon art.  These were my flowers for Mother's Day from them. Pretty fancy.

I started a pinkish version of my anthro necklace.... must finish! Then a new tutorial will be posted with a giveaway. Soon. I promise.

My mother-in-law has the mentality that you can never have too many books. I disagree. Where do I put them all! Maybe I'll start a library system. The girls love them, so I can't tell her no! And don't get me started on our mismatch shelving and drawers. I'm a little embarrassed.

Sassafras at Target.  Dollar section, our fav!

A few friends and I get together monthly for a card night. Cards and Mocktails to be exact. This week we attempted Poker. No alcohol but we still get crazy!

My mommy visited last weekend and it was SO much fun! We laughed and ate... a lot. Best weekend. I love you mom!

We've had construction going on down the street from us. We can't hear it, but we have to go through this anytime we go anywhere. It never fails that when I'm in a hurry the man with the stop sign walks out in front of my car.

Hold the phone. I started watching the Bachelorette this season. If you don't know, I get major type II (click for an explanation) when watching reality TV and many other things in life. But my cousin, Tina, invited me to play in their Bachelorette Fantasy league. (Yes they have those.) So I thought I would give it an honest effort... So far it's been okay. I've watched with friends both weeks so I think that has helped.

Right before I was done teaching piano the other afternoon I looked over and saw this. Too precious.

So awkward. Probably just for me... but, this girl walked into Cafe Rio with the biggest bag of Chipotle, and I felt so awkward for her! Maybe its because I've taken like a billion Cafe Rio surveys and it's very evident that Chipotle is their biggest competitor.

I made these melt in your mouth, pieces of heaven for my lemon loving, non chocolate eating friends. "So alicious!" As Boston would say. Recipe coming soon.

Dishes. Never ending.

Boston received this fun camera for her birthday. Brighton however was the first to use it since Bossy needed to nap. Best present. Thank you Ashley! Brighton- "Mom, now I'm a big girl just like you!"

  2. I think I am really going to love insta-fridays! Great pictures and it's such a fun glimpse of what's going on with you and the fam. However, I don't think any Friday post without a picture of chick-fil-a is very acurate. I had such a great time with you.....thanks! I love you too.
