Berkeley turned 6 months! Her stats were:
- 15 lbs 11 oz - 45th percentile
- 26 1/2 inches - 75th percentile
- 17 inch head - 75th percentile
We had our first round of swim lessons. We were lucky enough to find a teacher that comes to us :)
We played with friends.
And cleaned up the man cave for Braden's birthday.
I died over Berkeley's rolls, and squeezed and kissed her constantly.
Relatives kept our girls over night so that Braden and I could have a night away. It was glorious. Dinner, Movie, Beach, and SLEEP!
We tried out a new discipline system. They start with 5 stars, and they go to "Naughty Land" when they misbehave. They can earn bonus stars back for good behavior and then they get to turn in their stars for minutes playing video games at the end of the day. It worked for awhile...
I finally watched Downton Abby! So good.
Brighton and Boston got the cutest new do's from the talented Megan Hess.
And what's a hair day without getting your nails did too.
Oh and playing with friends late into the night!
In August we colored our faces.
And Brighton turned 5! Her stats were:
- 46 lbs - 75th percentile
- 43 1/2 inches - 75th percentile
We celebrated this smart girl with a pool party with good friends.
And then started Kindergarten!
She had the best first day and loved her teacher Mrs. Miller.
Boston's school didn't start for another couple of weeks, and she enjoyed all of the attention with big sis in school all day.
Capturing a moment of sister love.
And towards the end of the month I attempted a surprise party for Braden...which was semi-successful.
Boston got her thrills by being thrown in the air.
And I kept my sanity with a table for one.
Some more sister love.
This was our 8th annual date to see John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl. This year was with a guest appearance by Julie Andrews.
And we ended the month with a successful baby food feeding!
