The In Between's: October 2013

So many pictures in October!

The girls finished up their dance class.

We played in the backyard a lot.

Katlyn is the best neighbor EVER.

She was teaching Brighton and Boston how to do cartwheels...

...so I had to step in and show them how it was done. (Type II anyone?)

Boston was special helper at Funco and loved all of the attention.

And Berkeley continued to be the best workout buddy.

We enjoyed dinner out with Aunt Bonnie in Seal Beach. Dinner at Woody's and dessert at Cold Stone.

I couldn't help stopping to take this picture. This is the view when you come down the other side of the Orange Hill going to the park I work out at. I think it's so pretty.

Speaking of pretty.

This one was a ham for her 9 month photo shoot.

Oh wait, there's an ant.

And now from insta.

There is a little diner that has hundreds of different sodas by us. It's fun to take the girls there for ice cream and enjoy Old Town Orange.

This is one of the first things Brighton ever wrote. It was an invitation to a boy in her class. When I asked her who else was invited, she said, "No one." When I asked why she was just inviting Asher, she said, "I don't want to talk about it, mom!"

A little comparison. Boston left, Berkeley right.

I hosted a recipe exchange with some gals in our ward. It's always a good time with dirty diet cokes!

The girls beating up daddy. He is sooooo out numbered.

A little conference tradition. Homemade cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate (choffy for me). This was the only time I've been able to be prepared enough to keep them entertained. It's so much work!

Doesn't it look like Berkeley's taking a selfie? She was just trying to get my phone when I was taking her picture.

Brighton's kindergarten picture! I about died when they came and she had actually smiled!

A little swimming in October. No one is EVER there.

This little superstar got 100% on all of her sight word tests all year :) This was us celebrating one of them. She obviously didn't want her picture taken. Sorry B!

Create the captions.  This girl's faces crack me up.

I was introduced to these for the first time. Two flights, up and and down running, jumping, side stepping, etc., more times than I could count. It was such a good workout!
